Welcome to the online home of the Bali Old Boys Association (BOBA), the proud alumni of Cameroon Protestant College (CPC), Bali, Cameroon.
Our dear and beloved alma mater is a sectarian academy, founded by the Basel Mission in 1949, and is currently owned by the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon. CPC sits just below the leeward side of a hill named matterhorn, after its renowned homonym in Switzerland, by a Swiss missionary instructor. No, our matterhorn is not snow-capped, but from its peak you can see the surrounding grass lands, spotted by strips of bamboo groves, stretching to the foggy horizon.
This website is one component of our efforts to crystallize our motto: God - Knowledge - Service. We invite you to our home, be you family, friend, or just a passerby along the cyber highway. Take what you wish from this encounter, and give what you can. We hope you come again. Have a lovely day! |

The O'Neill Library Equipment Campaign II |
|
The O’Neill Library Equipment Campaign (TONLEC) was conceived in March 2004 by BOBA-USA to solicit books and other library equipment for the O’Neill Library at CPC Bali.TONLEC’s sole mission is to secure and equip near empty library with books and state-of-the-art library equipment, thus providing the students of CPC Bali with the resources needed to meet the educational challenges of the 21st century.
A Call to Action
I am honored to invite you, once more, to donate generously to The O'Neill Library Equipment Campaign (TONLEC). This time, your donations will go toward the purchase of shelves, tables, chairs, projector(s), other visual learning equipment, and networking and internet access equipment, for the O'Neill Library on the campus of Cameroon Protestant College, Bali.
These shelves, tables and chairs are necessry for everyday use of the library, and the other items, I believe, are all important components of any modern library in this high technology age. In addition to buying the required equipment, mostly in the USA and in Europe, part of the proceeds will go towards shipping these equipments and other O'Neill Library bound items to Cameroon.
The goal of this final phase of the Equipment Campaign is to raise enough money by the end of July 2008 to add to what we will be getting from BOBA-USA to get these last sets of books and other irems to Bali. I am counting on your generous donations toward this project one piece of a puzzle geared towards the permenent transformation of Cameroon Protestant College, Bali into 'A Center for Academic Excellence'.
